Key Job Responsibilities

The Human Resource Business Partner plays a strategic role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.

Talent Development & Employee Engagement Strategies

  • Develop and implement people strategies that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Support managers in performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Lead employee engagement surveys and action plans to improve the overall employee experience.
  • Drive initiatives to foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

Compensation, Benefits, and Rewards Management Expertise

  • Oversee salary structures, job grading, and incentive programs to maintain market competitiveness, including tabulation of sales commissions.
  • Partner with finance teams to manage budget planning for manpower related costs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, local regulations, and company policies for all compensation and benefits matters.
  • Develop retention strategies, including non-monetary rewards and career progression opportunities.

HR Operations and Compliance Assurance

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant, and aligned with best practices.
  • Manage HR systems (HRIS) and ensure accurate workforce data, reporting, and analytics.
  • Drive efficiency in HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Lead HR risk and compliance initiatives, including audits, workplace investigations, and legal reporting.

Centre of Excellence (COE) and Continuous Improvement Leadership

  • Collaborate with HR COE teams on the implementation of HR initiatives, such as performance appraisal, employee engagement survey, salary review exercise.
  • Lead HR best practices and continuous improvement projects in key areas such as leadership development, learning & development (L&D), and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI).
  • Drive digital transformation and automation within HR processes for greater efficiency.
  • Champion change management initiatives to support business growth and transformation.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and 8-10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with a strong HRBP focus and team management experience.
