As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the Human Resources department based in Kolkata, India, reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compensation strategies aligned with the organization's growth and scalability. Your key responsibilities will include:1. **Compensation Strategy & Structure:** Develop broadbanding or hybrid structures in line with business objectives and future scalability. Define the compensation philosophy aligning with strategic talent priorities and business affordability.2. **Job Evaluation & Band Structuring:** Conduct Job Evaluation using methods like Hay, Mercer, or Point Factor to determine internal job worth and hierarchy. Create and maintain job families, role definitions, and career progression paths. Evaluate job ranking for role clarity and mobility. Lead job branding initiatives for internal and external alignment.3. **Salary Benchmarking & Market Analysis:** Conduct external market benchmarking using survey data from reputable sources. Recommend adjustments to salary ranges based on market positioning and internal parity. Update the C&B policy manual to ensure regulatory and market alignment.4. **Benefits Administration & Governance:** Manage both statutory and non-statutory benefits. Drive enhancements in employee wellness and flexible benefit programs. Conduct cost-benefit analysis and vendor evaluation for benefit plans. Ensure compliance with labor laws and audit standards.5. **Performance Rewards & Incentive Design:** Administer various recognition platforms including value-based reward programs.6. **Reporting, Analytics & Budgeting:** Support C&B budgeting, headcount planning, and forecasting. Utilize tools like Power BI, Excel, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or Oracle HCM for real-time data visualization.**Required Skills & Competencies:**- Proficiency in Job Evaluation frameworks like Hay, Mercer, or equivalent.- Ability to interpret Range Spread, Grade Overlap, and Compa-ratio.- Knowledge of broadbanding and horizontally distributed job structures.- Expertise in Salary Benchmarking using Market Surveys.- Experience in Benefits Governance, especially in specific industry setups.- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and compensation compliance.- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Modelling) and HRMS platforms like SAP, Oracle, etc.If you have 12 to 20 years of experience and can join immediately or within 15 days, we invite you to apply for this challenging role where you can contribute to shaping the compensation and benefits landscape of our organization effectively.,
