Electrical Project Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to lead our electrical projects from design coordination through to completion and handover. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project schedules, manpower allocation, procurement, and site activities.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Liaise with consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent and local codes.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, resource allocation, procurement, and site operations.
  • Monitor and control project costs to avoid overruns and ensure timely progress claims.
  • Supervise site teams, including engineers and supervisors, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and work procedures.
  • Conduct inspections, testing & commissioning of LV, ELV, and power distribution systems.
  • Prepare project documentation: method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover documents.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical project management in the construction/M&E sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge in LV systems, switchboards, lighting, earthing, ELV, and fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
