Community Outreach Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of meaningful programmes that connect volunteer befrienders with children from families affected by incarceration.
This role offers hands-on experience in community work, event coordination, and volunteer engagement-perfect for fresh graduates eager to start their journey in the social service sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate Learning Journeys and Special Projects.
- Support and facilitate first home visits for the Learning Friends Programme.
- Coordinate ad-hoc volunteers to provide childminding support during Caregiver Support Group and Adult Befriender monthly sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or higher; relevant field preferred (e.g., Social Work, Education, Community Development).
- Open to fresh graduates with a strong interest in community work or volunteer management.
- Experience in community work or volunteer engagement is a plus but not required.
- Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva or other design tools a plus.
