Merchandising Professional

Our Merchandising team is responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies that drive sales growth, maximize profit, and minimize risks across our channels.

This role requires a strong background in inventory planning, buying, and merchandising to drive sales and ensure profitability across our channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be able to prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain detailed understanding of company strategy and translate it to category level
  • Evaluate historical performance and stay up-to-date with alternative jewelry trends to produce lessons learned and product strategy
  • Create category sales and profit plans, making strategic decisions to maximize profit and minimize risks
  • Support the Head of Merchandising with top-line reporting and strategic planning across channels
  • Plan the WSSI to manage stock and OTB plans
  • Plan, select, and buy a balanced and commercial range ensuring the flow of newness aligns with the trading calendar
  • Review sales performance and stock availability to propose and sign off replenishments
  • Reforecast sales and profit parameters monthly. Trade the proposition identifying risk and opportunities to maximize profit
  • Collaborate with the marketing teams to align on promotions, launch campaigns, and product recommendations
  • Review, propose, and implement markdown activity to reduce terminal stock whilst analyzing action taken on markdowns to maximize profit
  • Support the production team in managing suppliers by giving visibility of performance and future business
  • Maintain awareness of competitors' performance, pricing, and market trends

Requirements:

  • Strong background in (digital) merchandising, planning, or buying
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills
  • Someone who uses initiative with a hands-on approach and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to multitask in our fast-paced environment
