Overview
Pentera is looking for a
Sales Development Representative (SDR)
to join our team in Singapore. The SDR is a critical function of the Pentera sales team and is responsible for generating leads and building a new customer pipeline in the APAC region. The SDR will initiate contact with top target accounts, follow up on marketing-generated leads, and move prospects through the discovery phases. At Pentera, we promote from within and provide a clear growth path to transition into closing roles after a defined period with strong performance. A successful SDR is a self-starter, highly motivated, and confident in reaching out to Security Experts and Decision Makers.
Responsibilities
Generate new customer introduction calls for the field sales team through proactive outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social networking.
Master and deliver the Pentera value proposition and differentiation points.
Accurately log, track, and maintain records in Salesforce.com.
Establish, develop, and grow new business relationships with influential contacts.
Understand organizational drivers, challenges, and pain points to tailor outreach.
Collaborate closely with the inside and field sales team to optimize strategic sales approaches and territory plans.
Follow a clear and defined qualification process.
Requirements
Must be based in Singapore.
Fluency in
one of the following languages at a high level: Thai, or Bahasa Indonesian.
1+ years of sales-related experience – outbound-focused sales or other customer-oriented roles (support, customer service).
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience in Cybersecurity software – major advantage.
Familiarity with SDR tools such as Salesforce.com, Sales Navigator, Outreach, or Salesloft.
Experience generating your own leads.
Exceptional written communication, phone, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with strong time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for marketing events or customer meetings.
Energy, persistence, and resilience with a strong drive to succeed.
