For more information on Singapore University of Social Sciences, please visit About The Job Advancement Office is seeking an experienced fundraiser for an Assistant Manager/Manager post (Regional). The incumbent will play a key role in cultivating long‐term relationships with donors who can make transformative gifts. The incumbent reports to the Vice‐President and will manage the relationship with donors. He/she will be responsible for facilitating all phases of the gift cycle, including initiating contact, cultivating and moving potential donors to solicitation and closure, creating solicitations, and stewarding donors. The ideal candidate is a skilled relationship‐builder, results‐oriented, creative and enthusiastic, and extremely collaborative, organised and strategic. He/she will support the Director in identifying and implementing strategies for success in the relationships and work collaboratively with university leaders, key volunteers, faculty and colleagues to cultivate principal donors for university priorities. What You Will Be Doing Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, develop and deliver engagement opportunities to donors to ensure the maximisation of their financial and non‐financial support. Lead fundraising initiatives focused on engaging donors and corporate partners from the Chinese market (including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore), leveraging relevant cultural and market knowledge to establish and nurture long‐term partnerships. Maintain a strong familiarity with corporate landscapes, business practices, and philanthropic trends within these markets to identify and secure new opportunities for support. Research, develop, and write funding proposals and appeal letters as required. Be accountable for meeting or exceeding established monthly fundraising goals and metrics. Be accountable for cultivating relationships of individual giving with a focus on retention, recapture, and growth. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain a coordinated approach in support of overall departmental and university‐wide goals. Timely completion of donor documents to indicate donor commitments. Assist in hosting various development events.
