Reliability Engineer Role
As a reliability engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance and availability of mechanical equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Lead root cause failure analysis (RCA) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and update maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment, promoting best practices.
  • Ensure engineering, maintenance documents, and drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Manage the availability and reliability of process equipment and systems.
  • Act as the technical focal point for new projects, ensuring designs are reliable and efficient.
  • Develop training plans for operations and maintenance specialists, engineers, and technicians.
  • Maintain a zero-accident culture by adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal auditors and external auditors to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Hold a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in marine, gas, or chemical industry maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Be familiar with international codes such as API, ASMI, and local mechanical installation codes.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and teamwork skills.
