Bakery Operations Manager

A bakery operations manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of bakery operations, including staff management, inventory and supply ordering, sales targets, customer service, and financial record-keeping, all while maintaining a clean and appealing environment for customers and ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods. They combine leadership and communication skills with an understanding of baking, inventory, and finances to ensure the bakery meets its business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Management: Recruiting, training, scheduling, and motivating bakery staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve store goals.
  • Sales and Finance: Monitoring financial records, managing cash flow, achieving sales targets, and analyzing business data to improve performance.
  • Inventory Control: Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring products are fresh and well-organized to prevent shortages.
  • Operations: Overseeing daily operations, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring that baked goods are prepared, displayed, and sold efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring customer satisfaction by handling inquiries and complaints and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Compliance: Implementing and maintaining safety measures, adhering to food safety regulations, and following company policies.
