Your impact
We are excited to introduce our Jacobs Returnship program designed for talented professionals looking to REFRESH SKILLS, REBUILD CONFIDENCE, and REIGNITE CAREERS after an extended career break and absence from the workforce. As an employer of choice for diverse talent, we see inclusion and diversity as differentiators that enable us to bring more innovative thought and solutions to our people and clients alike.
The Returnship program is a paid, 16-week initiative with the intent to transition our returners to permanent placement. As diverse as our business is, so are the opportunities we have available. Our cohort of Returnship participants will join multidisciplinary teams across a variety of divisions working in our key markets of transport, water, energy & power, strategic consulting, digital solutions, and infrastructure.
As a participant, you will:
Experience 16 weeks of on-the-job learning and exploration with a diverse community of professionals from a wide range of backgrounds.
Access the vast network of resources at Jacobs through continual leadership development, support, and mentorship from our dedicated Returnship program team.
Receive ongoing support and mentorship as you navigate the transition with us to permanent employment.
Be a part of our Returnship cohort community, participating in regular focus group feedback sessions and social events to facilitate a seamless transition as you return to the workforce.
Here's what you'll need:
A relevant tertiary qualification in an engineering, science, or project management-related discipline.
A career break of at least 1 year.
Interest in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part-time and full-time options available).
At least five years of relevant postgraduate professional experience.
Drive and ability to thrive in a collaborative team.
Availability to start the Returnship program in 2024.
