Job Overview

The Education Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the administration and delivery of academic programs at the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI). As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing student onboarding, recruitment, and coordinating with external partners to ensure seamless program implementation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Student Onboarding: Oversee and manage the onboarding process for new students, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-informed. Provide guidance and support to students during their transition into the institution, addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Programme Management: Oversee the academic programs under your care, managing student recruitment, and handling pre- and post-course activities, including planning, scheduling, and class coordination for each study term.
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure the program's compliance with regulatory bodies such as SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), Committee for Private Education (CPE), and EduTrust. Handle documentation related to government funding applications via TPGateway.
  • Student Support: Act as the main point of contact for students throughout their academic journey, providing timely assistance with academic inquiries or administrative matters. Organize and conduct student orientation sessions to familiarize new students with the institution's policies, procedures, and available resources.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of academic and HR programs. Liaise with lecturers and internal teams to ensure smooth program delivery and student support.
  • Data & Reporting: Compile and track key program performance data, preparing reports for management on enrolment, retention, and student feedback. Evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs monthly and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in program coordination or a similar administrative role within a private educational institution.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, lecturers, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with education management systems (e.g., TPGateway, CRM platforms).
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the education sector (SSG, CPE, EduTrust) is a plus.
  • Experience in student services or educational program administration.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also handling tasks independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range:$40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
