Singapore MHA - Home Team Academy (HTA) Full time

Overview What the role is: When you join HTA, you become part of the Home Team training and learning community that learns and grows together. HTA officers can look forward to meaningful work that will impact and transform Home Team officers through training and learning. The Centre for Learning Systems (CLS) at HTA is responsible for conceptualising, planning, developing and reviewing the Home Team training and learning frameworks, programmes and initiatives to uplift Home Team trainers’ and curriculum developers’ professional training and learning competencies. Responsibilities What you will be working on: Drive the adoption of consistent assessment frameworks across HTDs Implement standardized assessment practices Establish common baseline standards and rigour in assessment practices across HTDs Support HTA\'s role as the Centre of Excellence for Evaluation and Assessment to connect HTDs with external organisations with E&A capabilities and promote sharing of T&L best practices among HTDs Address the training needs identified in the 2024 Training Needs Analysis study Reduce disparities in assessment practices across HTDs Articulate an HT T&D Professional Development Roadmap for T&D officers to upskill their T&D competencies in assessment Develop assessment competencies among trainers and curriculum developers through structured learning interventions Enhance the existing HT Assessment Framework Resource guide Qualifications What we are looking for: At least 3 years of working experience in a training and development role Possess a tertiary qualification, preferably in education-related fields Industry qualifications such as WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Performance (ACLP), WSQ Diploma in Design and Development (DDDLP) as well as post-graduate qualifications in adult education or workplace learning will be an advantage An ideal candidate should demonstrate: Drive to build new capabilities and operationalise existing initiatives to grow the expertise in Evaluation and Assessment Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders effectively Integrity, teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver on work outcomes Strong data analytical skills About MHA - Home Team Academy (HTA)As the Corporate University of the Home Team, the Home Team Academy (HTA) plays a crucial role in the Home Team training and learning ecosystem to develop skilled and future-oriented HT leaders and officers.
