As a Business Development Officer, you will play a crucial role in the company's sales and business development efforts within the food and beverage industry. This full-time position requires you to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify new sales opportunities, and drive revenue growth for the company.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Client Acquisition:
Identify and engage with potential clients, including HORECA (hotels, restaurants, cafes), food services, distributors, caterers, and retailers. Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the F&B sector.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute effective sales strategies and customized proposals that align with the unique requirements of F&B clients. Develop tailored presentations and proposals to address client needs. Negotiate and close sales contracts, while maintaining profitability and alignment with company goals.
Market Research & Analysis:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new products/services to identify growth opportunities.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Develop and manage a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Sales Reporting & Tracking:
Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
1 to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferably in the beverages, FMCG industry or F&B industry).
Industry Knowledge:
Experience in dealing with HORECA and B2B clients.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and results-driven.
Technical Skills:
Well versed in MS Office. Proficient in using CRM systems and sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
Education:
Diploma and above.
Other:
Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required for client meetings and industry events within the FMCG and F&B sector.
