Job Purpose/Overview
The OTC Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounts receivable operations. Streamline process between 4 countries (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore). Ensuring the process compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Positive and efficiency as key mindset to lead the order to cash processing (account receivables).
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily approval on order release process
Develop and implement collection strategies to improve payment metrics
Monitor accounts receivable aging and implement appropriate actions to address any issues
Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing and collections issues
Track and analyze customer payment patterns by identifying areas where improvements can be made to increase cash flow.
Support on billing intercompany creation
Oversee the credit accounts, credit history, credit limit and develop new or better repayment terms
Oversee the process of cash receipts efficiency, bookkeeping and reconciliation
Support for statutory audit on revenue documentation, and walkthrough
Support the ICTC Team (Tax Team) on any revenue document needed
Context and Scope
Manage the order release blocked due to rebates or credit memo utilization, or credit term
Manage any exception order to release, give insight and get approval from FinOps Manager and Finance Controller
Validate the balance to transfer (between customer account) or refund, ensuring the supporting documents are complete
Manage periodic cash receipts reconciliation, reconcile the account receivables ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted before the period ends
Monitor unpaid outstanding accounts and circulate weekly debtors report for 4 countries and streamline the process
Generate and analyze periodic account receivables reports to use on internal review, explaining the trend and the condition of each country, summarizing the highlights
Ensure the tax documents are sent out properly (TBC sent out by automation)
Review the aging of BIR Outstanding and send out the report weekly to the demand team
Support on billing intercompany creation on any cross charges to proceed
Monitor the credit accounts, credit history, credit limit and develop new or better repayment terms and review inactive customer accounts to mitigate the credit exposure risk
Support for statutory audit on revenue documentation, and walkthrough
Support the ICTC Team (Tax Team) on any revenue document needed
