The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems. Role
Laser Physicist
In This Role, You Will
Work with fiber laser team to develop and demonstrate high power fiber lasers concepts
Design high-power fiber lasers using physics-based models
Evaluate, select and characterise fiber laser components
Conduct experimental validation of laser design
Job Requirements
PhD / Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics / Physics / Optics / Photonics
Adept at developing or using physics-based numerical or analytical models
Experience with laser experiments
Able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
