What you will build
Design and prototype cutting-edge atom-interferometry sensors for real-world applications.
Miniaturize complex quantum systems for rugged, field-ready performance in diverse environments.
Develop and optimize optical, vacuum, and electronic subsystems for enhanced sensor performance and reliability.
How you will collaborate
Partner closely with our electronics, mechanical, and software teams to seamlessly integrate various subsystems.
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical documentation, strengthening our collective expertise.
Co-author high-impact patents, contributing to the forefront of quantum technology.
What ownership looks like
Lead projects end-to-end, from initial lab concept and design to rigorous field trials and deployment.
Shape the long-term roadmap for our quantum sensors, with direct equity alignment through our ESOP program.
Drive continuous improvement in our experimental setups and product development cycles.
What we are looking for
PhD in Physics or a related field, with a strong focus on cold-atom research.
Proven track record of building and optimizing complex experimental setups in a laboratory environment.
A self-starter who thrives in high-energy, cross-disciplinary teams and can independently drive projects forward.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and team collaboration.
Even better if you have
Hands-on experience with atom-interferometry (e.g., gravimeters, gyroscopes, accelerometers).
Practical experience with laser locking techniques, near-IR laser alignment, and RF electronics.
Familiarity with FPGA-based control systems for experimental automation.
Proficiency in simulation of atomic dynamics and quantum systems.
Experience in optics design for miniaturized systems.

Location:
This role is based at our Singapore HQ. You will also have the unique opportunity for field travel to remote and challenging locations, playing a crucial role in advancing quantum technology in environments few have experienced. This is not just travel, it is an adventure with profound impact.
