You will be responsible for software and system updates, ensuring patches for vulnerabilities, setting up and maintaining firewalls and antivirus solutions, and establishing incident reporting protocols. Additionally, you will coach employees in safe reporting practices and enforce password management principles, including complex passwords and two-factor authentication.Your role also requires training and supporting employees to recognize phishing emails and suspicious activity, using encryption tools for securing data in transit and at rest, educating employees on identifying security threats, and encouraging a proactive security culture. You should be able to configure and manage safe email practices and internet usage policies, use and manage password managers for secure password storage, and be familiar with social engineering tactics and training techniques.Furthermore, you should have knowledge in implementing and using secure email services for sensitive data handling, managing network security basics, securing wireless access points, and assessing and updating employees on emerging cybersecurity threats.
