IT Support and Security Awareness Specialist
You are a skilled IT Support and Information Security Awareness Specialist with the responsibility of managing the daily IT support needs and leading the company's Information Security Awareness Program. Your role involves having a strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and hands-on management of information security initiatives and incident response.Your tasks include understanding and applying basic cybersecurity concepts such as malware, phishing, encryption, and MFA. You will be responsible for software and system updates, ensuring patches for vulnerabilities, setting up and maintaining firewalls and antivirus solutions, and establishing incident reporting protocols. Additionally, you will coach employees in safe reporting practices and enforce password management principles, including complex passwords and two-factor authentication.Your role also requires training and supporting employees to recognize phishing emails and suspicious activity, using encryption tools for securing data in transit and at rest, educating employees on identifying security threats, and encouraging a proactive security culture. You should be able to configure and manage safe email practices and internet usage policies, use and manage password managers for secure password storage, and be familiar with social engineering tactics and training techniques.Furthermore, you should have knowledge in implementing and using secure email services for sensitive data handling, managing network security basics, securing wireless access points, and assessing and updating employees on emerging cybersecurity threats. An understanding of IT compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS relevant to cybersecurity practices is essential, along with knowledge of best practices for public and shared device usage.Your communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for fostering an engaged and alert workforce. The total experience required for this role is 6 months to 1 year, and a Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science is necessary. This is a full-time position located at Jodhpur Char Rasta, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, with benefits including leave encashment and Provident Fund. The work shift is during the day from Monday to Friday, and the ability to commute/relocate to the specified location is required.,
