Job Title: Senior Building Facade Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Facade Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of building facades and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth project delivery process;
  • Managing site activities and ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with approved plans, drawings, and contract specifications;
  • Planning and controlling projects to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and quality of work;
  • Leading teams of workers, supervisors, and subcontractors and resolving any site issues that may arise;
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and delivering work according to project schedules;
  • Taking initiative in decision-making and problem-solving within your areas of responsibility;
  • Setting targets, objectives, and responsibilities for supervised staff;
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines;
  • Regularly reviewing timings, budgets, labor, risks, and project plans to ensure work stays on track;
  • Reporting to clients and stakeholders on project progress and recommending improvements;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to relevant authorities as necessary;

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven working experience in building facade management;
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods;
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards;
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process;
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management;
  • Excellent time and project management skills;
  • Knowledge of building and construction;
  • Maths knowledge;
  • Leadership skills;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills;
  • Able to use a computer and main software packages competently;
