Singapore VSS FACADE INSTALLER PTE. LTD. Full time $104,000 - $130,878 per year
  • Assist the project manager or project engineer on a daily basis on-site.
  • Able to read and understand all facade shop drawings in detail.
  • Able to operate the gondola, building maintenance unit (BMU) and boom lift during troubleshooting in facade installation.
  • Coordinate with the surveyor with regards to the facade brackets and frame leveling as well as positioning as per facade setting out and shop drawings.
  • Arrange work as per schedule and allocate workers for the various installation works.
  • Supervise the work done by our curtainwall and cladding installer team.
  • Work closely with other site operation staff to ensure that the project schedule is met.
  • Ensure that the curtainwall/cladding installation is as per approved shop drawings.
  • Closely monitor the progress and quality of work being performed by the workers.
  • Ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship.
  • Work closely with the safety department to ensure that permit-to-work has been approved prior to commencement of works.
  • Prepare daily progress report using elevation drawing and report it to the project manager.
  • Coordinate with supplier for materials delivery to ensure that materials for installation are available.
  • Liaise with the main contractor for storage location on site.
  • Coordinate with the main contractor for access arrangement so that access is available to facilitate installation.
  • Attend the daily toolbox meeting and convey clear instructions accordingly to ensure that the team complies with all necessary in-house safety rules.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and site walks when required by the main contractor.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with project requirements and scope of work.
  • Ability to work under pressure in the fast paced construction environment.
