Job Overview
As a seasoned Senior Building Facades Specialist , you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of facade systems for high-rise buildings. This role requires expertise in curtain wall systems, fabrication drawings, and technical advising to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drawing facade shop drawings and design sketches that meet client expectations.
  • Reviewing structural and architectural drawings for design concerns and discrepancies.
  • Coordinating with clients, main contractors, architects, and consultants to resolve design issues.
  • Raising RFIs for design and technical concerns.
  • Providing technical advice to team members.
  • Ensuring timely submission and approval of shop drawings.
  • Maintaining accurate records of design changes and additional scope of work.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in facade design.
  • Familiarity with curtain wall systems.
  • Proficiency in Autocad software and general use of Revit and Microsoft Office/Excel.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to perform tasks under pressure and commit to following through on tasks within tight schedules.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
