What the role is: This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Biomedical Engineering in the School of Engineering. What you will be working on: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing tasks related to Biomedical Engineering modules. Identifying new opportunities and collaborations with industry. Managing administrative tasks related to course management. Engaging in industry or consultancy projects to stay current in your profession. Supporting student development in education. What we are looking for: Relevant qualifications in Biomedical Engineering, with at least 5 years of industry experience in medical technology, biomedical manufacturing, or related fields. Passion for education and strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, independent, and team-oriented.
