Associate Engineer, Biomedical (Healthcare)As an Associate Engineer, Biomedical (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties: Provide hands‐on technical assistance to clinical and support staff for the setup, maintenance, and safe operation of medical equipment. Oversee contractors and service vendors performing maintenance or repair works to ensure that standards and safety requirements are met. Gather user feedback and monitor the condition, performance, and reliability of medical devices. Troubleshoot and analyse equipment faults, incidents, or performance issues, and support engineers in planning and executing corrective actions. Ensure that all maintenance and repair work adhere to hospital quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Manage spare parts inventory and assist with documentation for maintenance activities and stock control. Support Biomedical Engineers in coordinating installation and servicing projects involving external vendors, contractors, and consultants. Carry out other tasks and assignments as delegated by Biomedical Engineers or department leads. Requirements: Possess a Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a Vocational Training Certificate in Electronics, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or Engineering. At least 3‐5 years of practical experience.
