As an Adaptive consultant, you will be fully supported by the Simmons & Simmons team with a sponsoring Partner and a client team with whom we would encourage you to engage on a regular basis. You will have access to the firm's resources and Know-how and have the opportunity to be involved in training and development at the Firm. Main purpose of the role: Simmons Adaptive are currently seeking consultants with insurance experience for live client assignments. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a range of matters including: Provide legal advice on a range of insurance matters including policy interpretation, claims, and disputes. Draft, review, and negotiate insurance contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance laws and regulations. Work closely with other departments to manage risk and ensure the bank's insurance policies are adequate and effective. Person specification: You are a qualified lawyer with training from a top tier law firm. You have solid post qualification experience working in insurance and/or corporate commercial practices. You have experience with insurance or banking documentation. You have experience with commercial transactions and documentation. You sound knowledge of insurance law and regulations applicable in Singapore. Experience with cross-border laws and regulations of other Asian jurisdictions is a plus. You have excellent communication and time management skills.
