Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing exceptional customer service and have excellent communication skills.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to customers through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and live chats. You will be responsible for resolving customer complaints, answering queries, and escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
- Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales processes
- Perform airlines space reservation and liaison with carriers via phone and email
- Monitor and follow up on shipments, checking their status regularly
- Verify pricing and terms & conditions for awarded shipments
- Process shipments in EDI software
- Arrange local handling services
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating with Customers:
You will be responsible for communicating with customers to resolve their queries and complaints. This includes attending to phone calls, responding to emails, and engaging with customers on live chat platforms.
Airlines Space Reservation:
You will be responsible for performing airlines space reservation and liaising with carriers via phone and email. This involves coordinating with airlines to secure space for shipments and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order.
Monitoring Shipments:
You will be responsible for monitoring shipments and following up on their status regularly. This includes tracking the movement of shipments and notifying customers of any delays or issues.
Shipments Processing:
You will be responsible for processing shipments in EDI software. This involves entering shipment details, updating tracking information, and ensuring that all necessary documents are complete.
Local Handling Services:
You will be responsible for arranging local handling services for shipments. This includes coordinating with logistics providers to ensure that shipments are delivered to the correct location.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to work well under pressure and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
You will also need to have a strong understanding of EDI software and be able to process shipments efficiently. Additionally, you should be able to coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless execution of sales processes.
