Job Description
As a senior service staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.
- Greet and welcome guests with warm hospitality and ensure their dining experience exceeds expectations.
- Provide attentive table service, serving dishes and ensure guests' needs are promptly addressed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations to customers.
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of the dining area, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked and presented to the highest standards.
- Work and communicate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of dishes.
- Assist the restaurant manager in daily operations and any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar senior service or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and personable manner.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, as well as an understanding of Japanese cuisine and culture.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service.
