Job Description/Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
5 years of technical and managerial experience in either Marine and Offshore industries
Good experience in rotating machinery; Diesel Engine, alternator and steering system
Preferably to have sales experience for services
Good technical knowledge on marine diesel engine in terms of its operation and maintenance aspect.
Hands on maintenance, repair and overhaul of marine diesel engine is an added advantage
Manage and lead both Technical and administrative teams for Service Department
Formulate Planned Maintenance Schedule parts and service package to enhance service sales
Responsible on the marketing strategies (parts & services synergy) for external service sales business
Allocation of manpower to support Sales team in both defect rectification and commissioning.
Budgeting and setting KPI for the department to align with Company goal / target
Perform ‘hands-on’ approach both on site and in workshop, when necessary
Approve Safety, Risk analysis and work procedures for maintenance work carried out both on-site and in workshop
Responsible for the after sales and Service related enquires for the Company
Responsible for managing XMH and its related overseas subsidiaries/dealers aftersales support and service sales.
Responsible for service training of personnel in XMH and its related overseas subsidiaries/dealers.
