Singtel, in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Technology, has launched the Work-Study Programme (WSP) called "The Catalyst Programme" in Feb 2023. This structured on-the-job (OJT) development programme allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure full-time employment with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in BEng Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. The programme is open to both Singtel employees and external polytechnic diploma holders, preferably from the Engineering domain. Candidates will be offered a role similar to the one described below. Make an Impact by
Assisting with project delivery for Data Centre building services, focusing on M&E systems installation, testing, and commissioning.
Supporting the development of project plans by coordinating resources, tracking timelines, and ensuring deliverables are on time and within budget.
Preparing project proposals and gathering documentation for approvals.
Collaborating with internal teams to understand project requirements and support solutions that meet data centre needs in capacity, security, and performance.
Maintaining project documentation, including plans and reports, and assisting with contractor coordination to ensure safety standards are met.
Monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues that could cause delays.
Skills For Success
A diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services from a reputable Polytechnic.
Effective problem-solving skills for project issues.
Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
