Assistant Manager - Innovation (Innovation and Capabilities Enablement)Position Overview Solicit, identify and analyse potential innovation projects for implementation. Drive and facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to drive the implementation of the innovation projects under the Synapxe. Role & Responsibilities The Assistant Manager's primary role is to identify and evaluate innovation projects from various forums with the main aim of converting them into structured collaborations between users, internal teams and industry solution providers, and manage the outcomes. They recommend innovative approaches, work with internal and user teams to manage projects to successful completion. Key Roles Include Structured analysis and evaluation of users' needs by understanding and documenting operational workflows, systems and applications in use, their limitations, and their issues and problem statements. Identification of appropriate pathways and options to recommend to the user based on a clear understanding of their needs and available solutions and services. Independent engagement with users and building strong relationships to become trusted partners and key liaisons within the organization. Planning and managing one or multiple inter-dependent projects spanning multiple years, overseeing all aspects to ensure completion within defined scope, quality, time and budget constraints. Management of budgeting, funding and claims administration, progress reporting, staffing meetings, and committee secretariat duties. Participation in strategic planning, providing inputs to chart paths and target outcomes, and executing operational matters to achieve those outcomes. Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Healthcare/Biomedical Science or equivalent. At least 4-6 years of experience as a Management Consultant, Technology Consultant, Business Analyst, Project Manager or similar. Experience in IT, Healthcare, and/or Singapore Public Sector is an advantage. Analytical, structured and meticulous with strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle complex stakeholders and ambiguous requirements. Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to convey business challenges into clear documentation and presentations. Able to work under pressure, in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments; good time management and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsible, accountable, with integrity, self-motivated and driven to achieve goals and outcomes; able to work independently and proactively seek support when needed. Experience/knowledge in diagnostic radiology clinical and operational workflows, medical imaging scans, system interface & integration, understanding HL7 & DICOM standards is an advantage.
