Reporting to the Head of Creative, Singapore, your accountability includes building positive relationships with our partnership clients and to grow new business, make a positive impact to the client's business, resulting in overall client satisfaction.
You will need to be an effective Qualitative Director with strong Qualitative research and Consulting expertise and be responsible for the overall health, longevity, and growth of our most important, integrated client relationships in Singapore. You will succeed in this role by demonstrating your extensive market research experience to build stronger client relationships, helping our clients use our marketing and consulting expertise to their strategic advantage. You will also be accountable for the entire research process, projects outcomes, client engagement and consultancy.
Job Goals
Lead and grow key client relationships by delivering outstanding qualitative research solutions that address business challenges and unlock new commercial opportunities. Drive innovation and excellence in qualitative research methodologies, positioning Kantar as the go-to partner for strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive Revenue Growth: Build trusted client relationships to expand our footprint across client organizations. Identify and develop "whitespace opportunities" to access new budgets in complementary areas (marketing consultancy, strategy, analytics) through effective cross-selling.
· Deliver Strategic Business Impact: Leverage your qualitative expertise to develop practical solutions aligned with clients' business priorities. Proactively identify high-potential clients and convert opportunities into measurable commercial outcomes.
· Champion Qualitative Excellence: Showcase the "best of Qualitative" while delivering innovative strategic mentorship that directly addresses client business challenges. Connect clients with our broader capabilities through your deep understanding of our network.
· Lead and Develop Teams: Guide and mentor research teams to deliver outstanding work. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and maintains high standards of quality and client service.
· Apply Cross-Cultural Expertise: Leverage your understanding of diverse cultural contexts to craft research that resonates across markets. Provide nuanced interpretation of findings that accounts for cultural differences and similarities.
· Demonstrate Strong Analytical Capabilities: Transform qualitative data into compelling, actionable insights. Connect research findings to broader business implications and deliver clear, strategic recommendations.
· Embrace Digital Methodologies: Stay at the forefront of digital qualitative approaches and technologies. Recommend and implement appropriate digital tools to improve research effectiveness and efficiency.
· Achieve Measurable Success: Drive profitable revenue and margin growth, increase market share, and improve customer happiness across your portfolio of key accounts.
Required Skills & Experience
· Proven track record as a senior Qualitative Research practitioner
· English proficiency, second language will be a plus
· Strong collaborative approach with the conviction to advocate for efficient client solutions
· Experience leading and mentoring research teams to deliver high-quality work
· Cross-cultural research expertise to navigate diverse market contexts
· Advanced analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex qualitative data into strategic insights
· Proficiency with digital qualitative methodologies and relevant research tools/platforms
· Outstanding relationship-building skills across diverse collaborators
· Critical thinking with ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations
· Results-focused with demonstrated commercial competence and business development skills
· Resilient and upbeat self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments
