Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. Role description
Nomura seeks to recruit an Associate level professional to work in the firm's eFX Electronic Trading team. The role's responsibilities include:

• Electronic Market Maker for Spot FX, NDF, Forwards and Swaps to the Nomura global client base and all internal Nomura departments.
• Quantitative analytics and development of all aspects of FX market making and FX algorithmic trading
• Work with the eSales team to help service their clients' needs whilst building lasting relationships and franchise
• Produce steady revenue stream from market knowledge and responsible idea-driven calibration of pricing and hedging models
• Leverage client flow and market events for the benefit of the client base and Nomura.
• Work to the highest moral code and advancing Nomura's ethics in all areas.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

• Bachelors' Degree in a quantitative or engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trading FX Products.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quantitative research or trading
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in coding in Python, or Java or relevant quantitative packages such as Pandas or scikit-learn.
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts in written and verbal formats to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manipulate and analyze complex, large scale, high-dimensionality data from multiple sources.
• Working experience with high-frequency financial time series is preferred.
