We are seeking a highly skilled Newborn Care Specialist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a unique and dynamic setting.

About the Role

The Newborn Care Specialist will be responsible for managing and operating the neonatal care unit, providing high-quality care to newborns, and educating mothers on breastfeeding techniques. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in neonatal care within a hospital or clinical setting and be certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). They will also be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

Responsibilities

  • Care and Management of Newborns: The Newborn Care Specialist will provide individualized care to newborns, monitoring their health and well-being, and responding promptly to any emergencies.
  • Breastfeeding Education: The specialist will educate mothers on effective breastfeeding techniques, providing guidance and support to ensure a successful feeding experience.
  • Newborn Bathing: The Newborn Care Specialist will provide instruction on proper newborn bathing techniques, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the infant.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in neonatal care within a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Certifications: Certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
