Job Summary

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to babies in the NICU. You will work closely with consultants and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, attending daily rounds, preparing admission and discharge summaries, and performing procedures under supervision or independently.

  • Attend deliveries under supervision;
  • Admit babies for supervision and observation post-delivery;
  • Review high-risk babies in the post-natal ward;
  • Conduct baby examinations, administer vaccines, participate in newborn screening, and create discharge plans;

Qualifications

  • Hold an MBBS degree with MD/DNB/DCH qualifications;
  • Completed fellowship in Neonatology is preferable;

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to attend out-of-hours shifts, discuss treatment plans with on-call consultants, respond to outpatient calls, and attend emergencies promptly. In the inpatient pediatric ward, you will examine, prescribe, and manage pediatric admissions after discussions with the incharge consultant, documenting daily progress, and performing procedures such as IV cannulation if necessary.
