About the Role ">

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor junior chefs to ensure the highest standards of pastry production. ">
  • Implement effective quality control measures to guarantee that all food preparation meets health and safety standards. ">
  • Collaborate with senior pastry staff to develop new recipes and seasonal menus that showcase creativity and expertise. ">
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary to maintain efficient inventory management. ">
  • Maintain a clean and organized pastry section by implementing effective sanitation procedures. ">
  • Work closely with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service and maximize customer satisfaction. ">

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen environment. ">
  • Culinary certification or formal pastry training is preferred but not required. ">
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. ">
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. ">
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively motivate and guide team members. ">
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP or equivalent) to ensure a safe working environment. ">
