Job Description:
You will be working with Head (Infrastructure Planning & Development) on all matters pertaining to project budgetary estimates, tenders to appoint contractors, and contracts and project management.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the construction contracts of building and infrastructure projects from award until final accounts;
Drive the tenders for the appointment of contractors in building and infrastructure projects;
Lead the procurement of furniture and equipment and ensure timely deliveries;
Project management of minor renovation works within the campus from conceptualization till completion;
Perform any other duties assigned to the Department.
Requirements:
Competency:
A good team player who interacts well with people;
Positive attitude and responsible;
Ability to write and communicate well;
Able to work independently and under pressure in fast-tracked projects.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
Recognised degree in Quantity Surveyor, Engineering, Construction/Building Management, or equivalent;
At least 15 years of proven working experience in building/infrastructure construction contract management;
Experience in healthcare sector and/or facilities management (maintenance) and/or Mechanical & Electrical engineering know-how will be an advantage.
