We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounts payable processing and a passion for accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and code invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account payable transactions.
Review and update the Accounts Payable aging report monthly and prepare payment proposals.
Handle petty cash and manage claims reporting.
Assist in cash flow forecasting, foreign exchange (forex) purchasing, and updating exchange rates.
Support month-end close processes and assist with audits.
Assist with other accounting duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
A Diploma in Accounting or higher.
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience working in fast-paced environments is a plus.
