Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a challenging role for a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to implement and maintain quality systems in compliance with international standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality works by engaging with project teams, leading the QA team, and training site staff on structural and architectural trades.

The ideal candidate will assess site operations and procedures daily, recommending improvements and providing insights on defects and preventive measures. They will also prepare monthly reports for management, conduct internal quality audits, compile trade information and test reports, and formalize documentation. Additionally, they will liaise with authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement site quality assurance and quality control systems in compliance with international quality standards
  • Engage project teams to deliver high-quality works
  • Lead the QA team and train site staff on structural and architectural trades
  • Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvements
  • Provide insights on defects and recommend preventive measures
  • Prepare monthly reports for management
  • Conduct internal quality audits
  • Liaise with authorities to ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, at least 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience, and experience in QA/QC and certified auditing. Knowledge of quality requirements, industry norms, and contract specifications is essential. Certification in ISO 9000 and knowledge of structural and architectural works are also desirable.
