Job Summary American Express is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our remote team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in providing administrative support, managing communications, and coordinating day-to-day operations from the comfort of their home. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives and teams, including scheduling, calendar management, and email correspondence. Handle incoming calls, messages, and inquiries professionally and promptly. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents. Coordinate meetings, virtual events, and travel arrangements when required. Maintain and update databases, records, and organizational files accurately. Conduct research and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks and projects. Support internal teams by streamlining processes and providing operational assistance. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace. Comfortable using collaboration tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Slack. Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. Experience Minimum 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, virtual assistance, or related roles. Experience in handling executive-level support is a plus. Familiarity with the financial services industry is desirable but not mandatory. Working Hours Flexible work-from-home schedule with core hours based on American Express operations. Occasional meetings or tasks may require adjustments to standard hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong time management and task prioritization skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
