Overview Assistant Company Secretary (Senior Level)We are seeking an amazingly well-rounded Assistant Company Secretary (Senior Level) to help quickly grow our business in Singapore. You will be forward-thinking, with a desire to work in a progressive, tech-assisted environment. Responsibilities Report to the Corpsec Manager or Co-Heads of Corpsec. May manage Junior Corpsec Executives and provide guidance and mentorship as a Senior Corpsec executive. Manage a portfolio of clients and ensure quality of service deliveries, timeliness, accurate billings, client relationship management, and client satisfaction/retention. Be available for clients to speak with you to properly execute duties; may be appointed as named secretary for clients in your portfolio. Plan work effectively to deliver within scope and timelines. Demonstrate expertise in Singapore regulatory framework and policies including the Companies Act 1967, AML/CFT policies, and financial reporting matters as regulated by ACRA; knowledge of regulatory requirements for private limited companies in Singapore. Understand client operations and business objectives and apply that knowledge to engagements. Provide guidance to junior team members for complex client requests to resolve issues appropriately. Work with stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes: knowledgeable team, automated processes, robust workflows, customer excellence, filing accuracy, deadline compliance, and improved profitability. Ensure tasks are carried out efficiently and contribute to continuous process improvements; maintain professional standards and client confidentiality. Requirements Recognised degree/diploma in Business Administration / Corporate Services / Legal Studies or equivalent. Professionally certified with CGQP qualification and a CSIS membership is preferred; comfortable being named secretary for clients when required. Preferably more than 5 years of experience in client-facing, complex corporate secretarial matters, including RQI and named company secretary duties, and attending board meetings. Proven track record in a fast-paced, technology-driven organisation. Good understanding of Singapore regulatory compliance; hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications; ability to utilise productivity software to facilitate daily work. Self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to adapt to a VUCA environment and contribute to process improvements; able to meet tight deadlines; immediate availability preferred.
