Salesforce Insurance Solution Architect - Singapore
As a Salesforce Insurance Solution Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions tailored to the insurance industry. You will act as a strategic advisor to business and technology stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution across Agency transformation and customer engagement.
Overview
Role focuses on defining and delivering Salesforce-based solutions for insurance distribution and agency journey transformation, with emphasis on integration to core systems and multi-cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end Salesforce architecture for Agency journey and related insurance solutions, including integration with core systems (PAS, billing, claims, reinsurance).
Lead solution ideation, feasibility analysis, and fit-gap assessments for new initiatives.
Develop architecture guardrails and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Serve as a subject matter expert in insurance domains such as life, health, and general insurance, with a focus on Distribution transformation areas across the Agency lifecycle (Recruitment, Training, Leads Management, Performance Management, Reporting and Analytics).
Leverage platforms like Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud to deliver digital, omni-channel experiences.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and integration patterns.
Guide development teams on best practices for Apex, Lightning Components, APIs, and data modeling.
Oversee solution implementation, customization, and deployment.
Collaborate with business units, product owners, and project managers to align solution design with business objectives.
Present architectural decisions and roadmaps to senior leadership and enterprise architecture committees.
Establish and enforce solution design standards, reusable components, and documentation practices.
Conduct design reviews, performance assessments, and security audits.
Qualifications
Required
10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution design, with at least 5 years in Salesforce implementations.
Deep understanding of insurance business processes and regulatory requirements with focus on Distribution and Agency journey transformation.
Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integration tools (Apigee, MuleSoft, Kafka).
Salesforce certifications: Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect.
Preferred
Experience with InsurTech platforms and digital transformation programs.
Familiarity with SOC 2, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
Knowledge of tools like JIRA, MS Visio, and OneView.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to mentor junior architects and developers.
