Business Development Director
for their AI-powered recruitment and career development platform. Key Responsibilities
Lead business collaborations with universities, vocational institutions, recruitment platforms, and ATS vendors to acquire CV and JD data.
Build the early B2B supply-side ecosystem (job postings), including corporate onboarding and job posting partnerships.
Drive the channel distribution of the AI Copilot for HR tool, negotiating OEM/API integrations with HR SaaS or ATS providers.
Develop collaboration strategies and business proposals, managing the full cycle from contract signing to implementation and data integration.
Work closely with the operations team to convert BD partnerships into measurable data growth (e.g., number of job postings, data structure quality).
Maintain key industry relationships and institutional resources while identifying vertical BD opportunities in recruitment and education.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to provide insights for product positioning and data strategy.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of B2B business development experience, ideally in education, recruitment, or HR SaaS industries.
Proven ability to independently manage partnership processes, negotiations, and contract execution, with measurable results in data or traffic collaborations.
Strong understanding of the recruitment ecosystem, including corporate recruiters, headhunters, ATS platforms, and HR tools.
Excellent business communication and copywriting skills; capable of preparing proposals, business decks, and driving execution.
Strong cross-team collaboration skills, able to work effectively with product, AI, and data teams.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (reading and writing) are preferred, especially for engaging with overseas stakeholders.
