Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end bidding pursuit process. Be the overall in charge of RFP document development, preparation and ensure high-quality proposals are submitted on time. Perform effective engagement with bid stakeholders, customers, overseas offices, and partners for bid submission. Work closely with Sales to understand customers’ requirements and business environment in order to formulate bid win strategies and value propositions for proposals. Manage and negotiate with partners and vendors on commitments and commercial terms. Ensure bid proposals adhere to finance and legal guidelines; manage risk log and mitigation plan. Work with Pricing Manager to ensure proposed pricing is in line with overall bid strategy, establish pricing structure that meets business/corporate target margins, and gain internal approvals for customer submission. Perform bid presentations and contract negotiations with customers. Respond to customer contract and commercial matters. Provide bid guidance, career planning, and development for Bid Managers within the team. Take on leadership in overseeing the operations and service of ‘Bid Desk’, a virtual Bid Management service, providing a lite version of bid support for the account team who are driving bids without Bid management assignment. Support includes proposal templates, collaterals, corporate information, product and organization accreditations certification, and write-ups. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain up-to-date materials for external consumption in proposals, presentations, and commercial contracts. Actively work with Directors and HOD in updating and enhancing departmental/bid processes in alignment with industry best practices. Skills for Success: Degree in Business Studies, Engineering, or Economics. Minimum 10 years of working experience with the last 5 years as a people manager. Previous bid management experience in the IT-related or telecommunication industry. Experience in Project Management, demonstrating Contract Negotiation skills, and Financial Analysis and Modelling.
