LNG Business Development Role

This is a pivotal position in identifying, evaluating, and developing strategic business opportunities in the LNG sector .

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new business opportunities to drive volumetric growth and economic returns.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's mid-to long-term LNG strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external parties to facilitate business development and project execution.
  • Lead or support the negotiation of commercial agreements including non-disclosure agreements, MoUs, Heads of Agreement, Sales and Purchase Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, innovative financial structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of approved business initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed feasibility studies, financial models, and business cases to support decision-making and realization of commercially viable opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive economic evaluation of business opportunities, including revenue forecasts, cost structures, cash flow projections, EBIT, and other key financial metrics.
  • Monitor industry trends, policy developments, and competitive landscape to make informed strategic decisions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Marketing, International Trade, Economics, or Business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the gas industry, with direct exposure to LNG marketing and contract negotiations.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic insights, proficient in financial modelling, risk-reward assessments, and economic evaluations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft persuasive documents and articulate positions effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and thrive in dynamic environments, resourceful and committed to continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on collective success, skilled in stakeholder alignment, conflict resolution, and driving change.
