Imagine a role where your skills and attributes will contribute to improving millions of lives. # **Let's talk about the team**The Diagnostics Product Team is responsible for developing products which meet the needs of patients who want to determine if they have sleep disorders such as sleep apnea or those who want to monitor their health while being treated.Its output includes sensor technology, processing algorithms, and low energy, battery powered, wirelessly connected devices. It interacts with other related product teams such as mobile apps, server software and therapeutic device teams. It's a fast growing area of Resmed's ecosystem and one with incredible opportunity to directly benefit millions of patients.# **Let's talk about the role**The primary role of Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineering function within Product Development team is to verify and validate the end to end system and design of all new products as part of product development prior to product release.Joining ResMed's Verification & Validation team will give you access to industry leading technology and knowledge, as you work on the new and upcoming products that make an impact on the lives of patients.You will collaborate regularly with a multitude of other engineering teams and disciplines, leveraging your system knowledge to develop comprehensive testing methodologies, including automated tests, that rigorously challenge the product design, ensuring that it will produce the best outcome for our users.You will have opportunities to be involved in the design of new test rigs, digital tools, and to develop your own initiatives and solutions that challenge and improve the way the team operates. The role entails collaborating across product development teams to ensure the design meets the needs of the technical requirements, as well as the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing test methodologies and automating tests to ensure a faster design iteration.
# **Responsibilities include*** Working with Product teams in the early phases of development planning and performing Exploratory testing.* Developing protocols that effectively test the design requirements and sufficiently challenge the product design and, architecture.* Performing testing and data analysis independently.* Reviewing and challenging system requirements for scope, risk and suitability.* Initiating and driving requirements on automation and test instrumentation.* Identifying and investigating root cause of test anomalies and failures.* Supporting regulatory activities, such as audits and FDA responses.* Collaborating effectively and promoting knowledge and skills sharing.* Maintaining technical skills and awareness of technical innovations.* Communicating effectively with peers, stakeholders and supervisors.# **Let's talk about you**To excel as an Engineer in Verification and Validation (V&V), you will need to be highly motivated, a go-getter, a great communicator, a problem solver, a critical and curious thinker with an out of the box approach to creative solutions.You are not afraid to experiment and to ask questions.
