**Responsibilities**:
Analysis of System and Subsystem Hardware and Software Requirements to define appropriate validation methods
Verification of appropriate validation methods used to satisfy System and Subsystem level requirements
Develop test procedures to satisfy system and subsystem hardware and software requirements
Develop documentation showing compliance to applicable standards and requirements specifications throughout EN 50128 V&V Lifecycle
Review of project life cycles
Develop software system and subsystem level test procedures
Perform software testing of requirements
Perform hardware level type testing (EMC/EMI, temperature and humidity, shock and vibration, etc.)
Issue the test reports and report on non-compliances
Ensure that designed software and hardware meet applicable requirements
Verification of requirements traceability matrices for software and hardware development.
Verification of software and hardware test procedures
Oversight of project V&V status based on lifecycles
**Requirements**:
Degree or higher in engineering or computer science
Familiarity in development of test procedures and execution of testing in accordance with applicable standards (i.e., EN 50126, EN 50128, IEEE 1558, EN 50121-3-2, EN 50155, EN 50129, etc.)
Experience in V&V activities within the railway or other regulated field
Knowledge of the testing and reporting processes to implement process improvement methods or tools
Knowledge of international and national railway standards
