We are seeking a skilled Verification and Validation specialist to join our Product Development team.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in verification and validation engineering, with experience in developing and implementing comprehensive testing methodologies.
The primary responsibility of this role is to verify and validate the end-to-end system design of new products prior to their release. This involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product development.
A key aspect of this role is to develop and implement test protocols that effectively challenge the product design and architecture. This includes identifying and investigating root causes of test anomalies and failures.
This role also requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have a passion for innovation and a willingness to explore new technologies and methods to improve the way we work.
- Developing comprehensive testing methodologies to rigorously challenge the product design and ensure it meets the needs of users.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the design meets technical requirements and customer needs.
- Implementing test protocols and automating tests to ensure faster design iteration.
- Reviewing and challenging system requirements for scope, risk, and suitability.
- Initiating and driving requirements on automation and test instrumentation.
- Identifying and investigating root cause of test anomalies and failures.
- Supporting regulatory activities, such as audits and FDA responses.
- Communicating effectively with peers, stakeholders, and supervisors.
To excel in this role, you will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator, a problem solver, and a critical thinker with an out-of-the-box approach to creative solutions.
You should have a Bachelor of Engineering or Science degree, with related work or study experience advantageous, particularly in the medical device field. Interest and/or experience in robotics and CAD design are also beneficial.
