Job Overview

This is a 12-month traineeship program designed to introduce you to all facets of data center operations.

You will have exposure to learn and understand how our data center works, interact with support teams and customers, and experience the latest technologies of our cloud.

By the end of the program, you will be assessed on your learnings to see if you have what it takes to join our growing team as a full-time technical support professional.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation and configuration tasks on data center servers and network systems
  • Installation, troubleshooting, and replacement of internal and external hardware parts of servers and network devices
  • Perform storage media sanitization and destruction tasks
  • Work within a ticket-based environment and resolve systematic problems
  • Movement of equipment with assisted lifting machinery
  • Maintain high system reliability by prioritizing trouble tickets
  • Collaborate with internal teams, sharing ideas and contributing to projects that improve DC work environments and overall efficiencies
  • Participate in, lead, and deliver small to mid-scale projects, including data center rollouts

Requirements

Diploma holders in Electrical & Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering, or Information & Digital Technologies are preferred.

Alternatively, technical education with relevant working experience is considered.

Basic knowledge of cloud computing technologies and IT system hardware and network concepts is required.

A passion for IT infrastructure and hardware is essential.
