Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Director

Overview

The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality infrastructure services to support business growth and success. As a cloud infrastructure director, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise solutions.

  • Develop and implement infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Work with other departments to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve infrastructure capabilities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience as an infrastructure lead.
  • A strong understanding of IT governance, security, and risk.
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills.
