What You Will Do

Category Sourcing Manager, F&B and Entertainment
role will work with the Manager of the Disney Experiences - Strategic Sourcing, dedicated to Disney Cruise Line. You will be responsible for managing sourcing responsibilities for DCL Singapore vessel, corresponding with domestic sourcing partners in Walt Disney World. This Cast Member will be responsible for all sourcing and procurement related activities related to Marine & Technical Operations (MTO), Hotel and Food and Beverage with a focus on client management, category management, sustainable international sourcing and technical solutions in support of the Disney Cruise Line fleet.
Responsibilities:
Focus on client management, category management, and technical solution finding in support of Disney Cruise Line operations.
Accountable for business unit sourcing initiatives that consider supply chain processes and infrastructure improvements to drive reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without compromising policy, business strategy and performance.
Participate in cross-functional teams responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing arrangements with key suppliers.
Source and negotiate supply relationships on behalf of our DCL’s internal clients.
Provides quote management, project sourcing, and order execution for assigned Disney Cruise Line vessel.
Coordinates and confirms requirements for goods or services with on-board partners and/or shoreside management.
Leverage global supply base to ensure acquisition of requirements at the best landed cost.
Resolve issues, i.e. extended or missed timelines, order errors, and returns timely with ownership in seeing through to completion.
Provides timely and professional communication to partners.
Establishes supplier performance metrics, process improvement and value opportunities.
Use strong analytical skills to solve complex problems utilizing a data-driven approach.
Applies best practices, tools and techniques in the development and implementation of an integrated sourcing strategy.
Manages Contracts and Key Supplier Relationships.
Execute on business efforts to protect the brand through best Risk Management practices and all efforts to achieve Corporate Citizenship goals in Environmentally and Supplier Diversity.
Requirements:
5+ years’ dedicated time in supporting a Strategic Sourcing and/or supply chain discipline.
Negotiation experience of pricing and commercial terms and conditions.
Understanding and execution of a formal RFP (Request for Pricing/ proposal) process for Services or Goods.
Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (esp. Exchange, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Keeps commitments and understands how to prioritize work with urgency.
Experience with AMOS, Coupa and SAP sourcing and procurement systems.
Knowledge of F/B industry trends and sourcing and procurement processes.
Professional certification in CPM logistics or SCM.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance or similar discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree.
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
NCMA Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM).
