Senior Business Development Manager Date: Oct 5, 2024 Company: Barco We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to develop the market. Key Responsibilities Build a network and maintain strong working relationships with rental & tagging partners, system integrators, end users & consultants to detect and influence opportunities at an early stage. Act as SPOC for the end customer. Prospect, identify and develop new sales opportunities. Manage processes for creating quotes, managing the sales cycle in CRM, developing and negotiating proposals, and commercial agreements. Track business opportunities and performance of the sales funnel, and provide regular forecasting, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to Sales Management, Segment marketing, and product management. Maximize opportunity conversion rate by supporting local partners and customers through different sales stages, with both commercial and technical advice. Translate customer needs into Barco winning solutions and offerings. Work closely with different teams within the organization, such as Product management and technical experts, while managing multiple projects simultaneously in an international environment. Provide guidance to field marketing on the best possibilities to reach the communities. Participate in regular training from Barco HQ and assist in trade shows and events within the region. Grow Barco sales and funnel in the targeted country, either by increasing sales within managed end-user accounts or by acquiring new end-customers. Support Barco new product launch by evangelizing the solution to managed accounts. Establish contact and secure demo opportunities with key prospects, and close deals during on-site visits or industry events. Follow up on leads generated by Barco campaigns. Analyze customer needs and provide the appropriate value proposition in return. Identify showstoppers to potential opportunities and report back to management for additional support from the product team. Report on weekly visits and funnel management; keep up-to-date records in the company's CRM system. Monitor technology and market factors and provide market intelligence to Sales management, Segment marketing, and Product management. Your Profile Bachelor or Master degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience. More than 5 years of proven sales experience in related industry/technology. Strong and assured communication and presentation skills. Collaboration skills as there is a clear interaction needed between different team roles, e.g., BDM - consultant account manager - channel manager. Result-oriented, budget-conscious, and metric/measurement driven. High-level sales negotiating skills with outstanding relationship-building abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
